Description

VisionLINE Taurus on Wood Storage Base with Fans & Heat Shield is the freestanding VisionLINE Taurus configured with the wood-storage base, convection fans and rear heat shield for a raised landscape-fireplace installation.

The current Taurus is rated for burn times up to 12 hours, 61% average efficiency, 74% peak efficiency and 1.3 g/kg emissions, with a large firebox accepting logs up to 700 mm. In freestanding form, VisionLINE publishes heating guidance up to 300 m².

The supplied heat-shield configuration can reduce the published rear clearance compared with the unshielded heater. Final base, fan, hearth and flue installation must follow the current VisionLINE Taurus instructions.

Use And Care

Have the heater installed by a qualified installer in accordance with the current manufacturer instructions, AS/NZS 2918 and local requirements. Burn dry, seasoned hardwood only unless the manufacturer specifically approves another fuel. Keep door seals, glass, air controls and the flue system maintained, remove ash only when safe to do so, and have the flue inspected and cleaned regularly. Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning glass or internal components.
