Outdoor bar stools must match a raised table in both seat height and knee clearance. Matzo is the simplest, lowest-maintenance seating format. Its full aluminium construction, contoured seat and powder-coated finish avoid loose cushions and provide a clean profile that can tuck beneath many bar tops. Bondi bar chairs add a back, arms and outdoor cushions, trading some visual and physical bulk for longer-session comfort. Their white and gunmetal finishes coordinate directly with Bondi bar tables and complete settings.

Montego and Flinders provide timber alternatives. The Montego stool has a more compact bar-stool format, while the Flinders bar chair offers a supportive chair shape in solid teak. Teak can retain more of its warm colour with periodic care or weather naturally towards silver-grey. Cushioned seating should be stored dry during prolonged wet weather, while aluminium and timber should be cleaned with material-appropriate non-abrasive products.

Start with the table height and manufacturer's seat-height guidance. Then measure stool width, arm clearance and the space needed to step back from the table safely. Consider whether a backless stool is comfortable enough for long meals or whether a backed chair is more appropriate.
