Aluminium outdoor chairs are available in several comfort formats, even when the frame material is the same. Alfresco’s range includes padded Bondi Dining chairs, breathable Bondi Sling chairs, taller Bondi High Back designs, Noosa Sling seating, Mayfair padded sling chairs and Shelta Bridgeport armchairs. Bondi bar chairs sit at a different height and should be compared with bar tables rather than standard dining tables.

Cushioned Bondi Dining chairs use a powder-coated aluminium frame with stainless-steel hardware and Olefin cushions with zippered covers. They suit customers who prefer deeper padded support for long meals, but the cushions need routine cleaning and dry storage during prolonged wet weather. Bondi Sling chairs use integrated sling fabric across the seat and back, removing the need to store loose seat cushions.

High-back chairs provide extra upper-back support and a stronger visual presence around the table, while lower-profile sling designs can make a compact patio feel less crowded. Arm width and height also matter: measure whether the chair will slide beneath the selected tabletop and how many chairs fit without the arms touching.

Before ordering, match chair height and arm clearance to the table you plan to use. Dining chairs should sit comfortably beneath a standard dining table, while bar chairs need a taller bar-height surface. If easy-drain seating with no loose cushions is the priority, compare sling styles; if long-meal comfort matters more, a cushioned chair may be the better fit.
