The Portable Heating range includes two Bromic Supa Heat indoor room heaters: one configured for LPG and one for natural gas. They share a compact flueless format and are intended to provide direct radiant warmth plus natural convection without a fan. The correct model must be chosen for the available gas supply.
The natural-gas Supa Heat is designed for a compliant household natural-gas connection, while the LPG model is configured for LPG. These are separate appliances and should not be treated as casually interchangeable. Key features include battery ignition, high and low heat settings, a top vent for natural convection and an included 1500mm bayonet hose.
Portable in this context means the heater can be repositioned within the limits of its hose and approved connection; it does not mean the appliance can be connected directly to a loose gas cylinder inside a room. The Supaheat II manual warns that the heater must not be connected directly to a gas cylinder and includes installation, ventilation and safety requirements. Fuel connection and compliance should be checked by a licensed gasfitter.
Flueless indoor gas heaters also require adequate ventilation and are subject to restrictions that can differ by Australian state, territory, room type and building. They should not be selected only by advertised heat output. Confirm whether the appliance is permitted in the intended room, whether the room volume and ventilation are adequate, and whether the gas connection is correct.
Choose LPG or natural gas strictly according to the approved supply. Review the current product manual and local requirements before installation, and do not use the heater in sleeping rooms or other prohibited spaces.
