Weber Traveler BBQs combine a portable gas barbecue and collapsible cart in one piece, reducing the number of separate components that need to be packed for a trip. Alfresco’s range includes the Traveler Compact and larger Traveler Stealth Edition, giving customers a clear choice between easier vehicle storage and more cooking area.

The Traveler Compact is the easier model to store in a smaller vehicle. Weber specifies it at 80cm wide and under 18kg, with a one-piece design that fits into the boot space of most cars. It is intended for customers who value a smaller packed footprint for camping, picnics, fishing or road trips but still want a barbecue raised to a practical cooking height.

The larger Traveler Stealth Edition provides more cooking space while retaining the integrated fold-down cart. It is better suited to customers who regularly cook for a larger group and have enough room in the vehicle, caravan storage compartment or shed to accommodate the wider folded unit. The black Stealth finish changes the presentation, but capacity and packed size should drive the decision.

Both are LPG portable barbecues, so fuel setup, storage and transport requirements need to be considered before departure. Fitted covers and other accessories can be model-specific, so check compatibility with Compact or full-size Traveler before ordering.

Choose Compact for easier packing and mobility, or the larger Traveler where cooking area matters more than minimising the folded footprint.
