The Tread Gas Black is Gozney’s adventure-ready gas pizza oven, combining high-temperature cooking performance with a compact, rugged design made for easier transport. Weighing approximately 13.5kg, it is suited to backyards, courtyards, campsites and outdoor adventures where a portable cooking setup is essential.
Reaching temperatures of up to 500°C, the Tread can cook pizzas up to approximately 12 inches with crisp bases, risen crusts and flame-finished toppings. Gozney’s signature lateral gas flame rolls across the roof of the cooking chamber while the removable 12mm cordierite stone delivers intense heat from below.
Designed to heat quickly, the Tread can reach cooking temperature in around 15 minutes depending on conditions. An integrated analogue stone-temperature gauge helps you monitor the cooking floor, while the adjustable LPG burner provides responsive flame control throughout the cook.
Although built with pizza in mind, the Tread is also suited to flatbreads, vegetables, seafood, meats and other dishes that benefit from intense flame and high-temperature outdoor cooking. A range of compatible Gozney accessories is available separately to create an even more versatile portable cooking system.
