Dome Wood Loader

The Gozney Dome Wood Loader is a purpose-built fire-management tool designed to make placing, moving and managing wood inside compatible Dome ovens more controlled. Wood-fired cooking requires regular adjustments as fuel burns, settles and creates embers, and the Wood Loader gives you a dedicated way to position suitable timber without relying on improvised tools around the hot oven opening.

A stainless-steel loading cup supports the wood from beneath as it is carried into the cooking chamber, helping you position fuel towards the side or rear of the oven according to the available cooking space and desired flame pattern. More accurate placement can help keep the active fire organised away from pizza, cookware and ingredients while still allowing flame to develop across the chamber.

The rotating plastic handle provides additional control when managing burning wood. By changing the position of the loading cup, you can separate pieces, break up timber or make smaller fire adjustments as the cook progresses. Opening up the arrangement of burning wood can also expose more surface area to oxygen, helping you respond as the fire changes throughout a cooking session. Fire behaviour will still depend on the type, size and dryness of the wood being used.

The Wood Loader can also help move timber more deliberately, reducing unnecessary disturbance of ash and embers around the cooking floor. It is compatible with the original Gozney Dome, Dome (Gen 2) and Dome XL (Gen 2), making it useful across multiple generations of the Dome range.

The stainless-steel cup becomes extremely hot during use and may retain heat after leaving the oven. Always use the Wood Loader with appropriate fire-management practices, keep clear of the oven opening and allow the tool to cool completely on a suitable heat-resistant surface before cleaning or storage.
