The Dome XL (Gen 2) Mantel gives the larger Dome XL setup a dedicated landing zone right at the oven mouth. It creates useful working space for the moments when food needs to be checked, turned, basted or rested without taking it away from the main cooking station.
That becomes especially valuable when the oven is busy with multiple pizzas, larger cookware or a longer live-fire session. Instead of relying on a separate side table for every movement, the cook has a convenient intermediate surface built into the workflow around the oven.
