The Dome (Gen 2) Mantel adds useful working space directly in front of the oven, creating a more natural place to manage food as it moves between the cooking chamber and the preparation area. It helps reduce the need to reach for a separate bench every time a pizza, pan or dish needs attention.
During a busy cooking session, that extra landing zone can make the workflow feel much smoother. Food can be checked, turned, basted or briefly rested while staying close to the heat, keeping the cook centred around the oven instead of moving back and forth across the outdoor kitchen.
