Dome (Gen 2) Mantel

The Dome (Gen 2) Mantel extends the front of the standard Gozney Dome (Gen 2), creating a strong and convenient landing area immediately outside the cooking chamber. It provides useful additional space for checking pizza, managing cookware and completing finishing tasks close to the oven.

Designed exclusively for the Dome (Gen 2), the Mantel uses a push-fit, click-in connection system. Once correctly assembled, it can be fitted to the oven without tools or permanent modifications, creating a purpose-built extension of the cooking area.

The working shelf is made from durable 304-grade stainless steel, providing a strong and practical surface for checking pizza bases, garnishing dishes, basting food and carefully repositioning suitable cookware. A high-pressure die-cast aluminium support arm provides strength beneath the shelf, while its powder-coated finish adds resistance against heat and scratches.

Keeping food close to the oven entrance can make it easier to inspect cooking progress without repeatedly carrying hot cookware to a separate bench. The Mantel can also provide additional support when retrieving pizza or preparing dishes for their next stage of cooking.

Always treat the Mantel as part of the heated oven environment. Use suitable heat-resistant gloves and tools, and allow the oven and Mantel to cool completely before cleaning, adjustment or removal.
