Turn the barbecue off, disconnect the gas supply and allow it to cool before deep cleaning. Brush the cooking grills regularly, keep burner ports and spider screens clear, scrape grease and debris from the cookbox into the pull-out grease tray, and wash grease-management components in warm soapy water.
