The Weber Charcoal 5kg is an Australian-made lump charcoal option for cooks who want high heat, a long burn and low ash from natural barbecue fuel. Weber Australia specifies that it is made from 100% natural lump charcoal, sustainably sourced and produced in central Queensland, with no chemicals added.

The charcoal is graded for size and fine particles are removed before packing. According to Weber, this grading improves lighting and makes the cooking fire easier to manage compared with a bag containing a high proportion of small fragments and dust. The fuel is designed for Weber kettles and other charcoal barbecues and is typically ready to cook over in approximately 10 to 20 minutes when lit correctly.

Lump charcoal is well suited to cooks where responsive heat and strong searing temperatures are useful, while vent control and fuel arrangement allow the fire to be managed for a wider range of barbecue methods. Keep the 5 kg bag dry, use a charcoal-safe lighting method, and let all remaining coals and ash cool completely before handling or disposal.
