Venture Turning Peel

The Venture Turning Peel is designed to make turning, lifting and retrieving pizza easier when cooking with the Gozney Tread or Arc Lite. Purpose-built for these compact ovens, it combines a supportive stainless-steel blade with a shorter handle that provides precise, responsive control in portable and space-conscious cooking setups.

The approximately 152mm-wide welded stainless-steel blade offers useful support beneath pizzas up to approximately 12 inches. Its chamfered leading edge creates a tapered front that helps the peel slide beneath a partially cooked base with less resistance, reducing the need to push or force the blade underneath the crust. This broad, stable design can be especially useful for cooks developing their pizza-turning technique.

A shorter overall handle keeps movements compact and controlled, making the peel well suited to the smaller cooking chambers of the Tread and Arc Lite. Once the underside of the pizza has set, the peel can be worked beneath the crust to lift and rotate it towards or away from the flame, helping encourage more even colour around the edge without fully removing the pizza from the oven. Keeping the pizza inside the cooking chamber also helps preserve the intense heat required for fast cooking.

The handle is made from FSC-certified beechwood, providing a comfortable gripping surface while helping balance the stainless-steel blade. A hanging loop and moulded component made using Ocean Bound Plastic Certified recycled plastic provide a practical storage option between cooking sessions. Designed to complement a suitable placement peel rather than replace one, the Venture Turning Peel is a practical accessory for Tread and Arc Lite owners who want greater control over pizza rotation, positioning and retrieval.
