Venture Placement Peel

The Venture Placement Peel is designed to make preparing, carrying and launching pizzas up to approximately 12 inches feel lightweight, natural and controlled. Developed to complement compact Gozney pizza ovens, its shorter overall design is particularly well suited to portable cooking setups where a long professional peel may feel unnecessarily cumbersome.

A strong, lightweight aluminium blade provides the support needed to carry stretched dough and toppings from the preparation area to the oven. Round hexagonal perforations across the blade allow loose flour and semolina to fall away before launch, helping reduce the amount of excess flour entering the oven where it can burn, create residue or introduce unwanted bitterness. The rounded blade shape also provides a useful visual guide when preparing pizzas up to approximately 12 inches.

The profiled aluminium handle is shortened for responsive control around compact ovens such as the Gozney Tread and Arc Lite. Its defined gripping surface helps make carrying, positioning and launching the pizza feel secure, whether you're cooking in the backyard, on a balcony or taking a portable setup farther afield. The handle is also replaceable, allowing the component to be changed if required while the remainder of the peel remains in usable condition.

For the cleanest launch, lightly dust the preparation surface or peel, transfer the stretched dough onto the blade and add toppings without overloading the centre. Before approaching the oven, gently move the peel to confirm the pizza slides freely and allow excess flour to fall through the perforations. The Venture Placement Peel is designed primarily for launching uncooked pizza; pair it with a suitable turning peel for rotating, lifting and retrieving the pizza once the base has begun cooking.
