Utility Turning Peel

The Gozney Utility Turning Peel is designed to make lifting, rotating, repositioning and retrieving pizza easier throughout the cooking process. Its broad stainless-steel blade provides generous support beneath the pizza, helping home cooks manage the crust with confidence while it remains inside the oven.

The approximately 152mm-wide blade uses a strong single-piece stainless-steel construction suited to regular high-temperature cooking. A chamfered leading edge creates a tapered front that helps the peel slide beneath the cooked base with less resistance, reducing the need to push or force the tool beneath the pizza. Its wider profile provides more support than a compact circular turning peel, which can be particularly useful when handling softer or more heavily topped pizzas.

At approximately 800mm long, the Utility Turning Peel offers useful reach while keeping the user positioned away from the intense heat of the cooking chamber. The FSC-certified beechwood handle provides a comfortable gripping surface and adds balance to the stainless-steel blade, helping the peel feel controlled during turning and retrieval. An integrated hanging loop incorporates Ocean Bound Plastic Certified recycled plastic and provides a convenient storage option between cooking sessions.

During cooking, the peel can be used to rotate the pizza towards or away from the flame to encourage more even browning around the crust. Once the pizza is finished, the broad blade can also help support it as it is moved towards the oven opening and transferred to a suitable serving board.
