Live-Fire Tongs

The Gozney Live-Fire Tongs are designed to give outdoor cooks greater control when managing wood, charcoal and food around high-temperature cooking equipment. Their extra-long design helps keep your hands farther from radiant heat, sparks and flames while giving you the reach needed to adjust fuel and ingredients throughout the cooking session.

Measuring approximately 496mm long, the tongs are particularly useful for repositioning logs towards the back of an oven, moving charcoal, spreading hot coals or adjusting heat zones without placing your hands unnecessarily close to the fire. Serrated gripping tips provide additional purchase on fuel and ingredients, helping reduce unwanted slipping while wood, charcoal or food is being lifted or repositioned.

Constructed from heavy-duty 304-grade stainless steel, the tongs provide the strength required for regular live-fire cooking while remaining suitable for food contact. They can be used for appropriate cooking tasks such as turning meat, seafood and vegetables as well as for managing fuel. For good food-handling practice, clean the tongs after contact with ash, fuel or raw ingredients before using them with cooked or ready-to-eat food.

Their extended reach makes the Gozney Live-Fire Tongs particularly useful with compatible wood- and charcoal-fired outdoor ovens, while their general-purpose design also suits suitable grills, fire pits and other live-fire cooking setups. Use them to add fuel, separate burning wood, reposition charcoal or create different heat zones as conditions change during the cook. The tongs may become extremely hot during use, so suitable heat-resistant gloves and safe fire-management practices remain essential. Allow the tool to cool completely before cleaning and store it safely in a clean, dry location after use.
