Dough Cutter

The Gozney Dough Cutter is a purpose-built preparation tool for dividing, shaping and managing pizza dough with greater control. Its broad tapered blade makes it easy to portion a larger dough batch into individual pieces without repeatedly pulling or tearing the dough by hand, helping create more consistent dough balls for your pizza-making session.

Measuring approximately 6½ inches across, the tapered blade provides a wide working edge for pressing cleanly through soft dough and can also slide beneath individual portions when they need to be lifted or repositioned. This makes the cutter useful throughout preparation, from dividing a fermented dough batch through to shaping portions before proofing. The flat blade can also help gather small pieces of dough or flour from the preparation bench, keeping the workspace more organised as you work.

A weighted wooden handle provides a comfortable, stable grip above the blade and helps the cutter feel balanced when pressure is applied. When preparing several pizzas, dividing dough into similar weights can help produce more consistent pizza sizes, thicknesses and cooking times. For greater accuracy, portions can be weighed individually before being shaped and transferred to a suitable dough tray for proofing.

Although designed with pizza preparation in mind, the Dough Cutter can also be used with bread, focaccia, flatbread, roll, bun and other suitable soft dough mixtures. It is intended for dough preparation rather than cutting cooked pizza, frozen food or hard ingredients.
