ADF Linea is a broad contemporary wood-fire family rather than one appliance. Alfresco Outdoors & Heating's 11-product range includes Linea 85 and Linea 100 models, single-sided and Duo double-sided fireboxes, freestanding bodies, pedestal or open-base versions and inbuilt inserts.

The 85 format provides the narrower architectural option, while Linea 100 creates a wider horizontal view of the fire. Within those widths, the lettered suffix and title matter. B, P and L variants can indicate body, pedestal or base configurations, while Duo and D Duo products provide glazing and access on two sides. Customers should use the exact model page rather than treating similarly named products as cosmetic variants.

A single-sided fireplace suits a conventional feature wall. A double-sided Linea 100 can connect an open-plan room or place the flame between adjoining spaces, but it changes the wall construction, clearances, circulation and viewing arrangement. Castworks describes the Linea 100 D Duo insert as an inbuilt double-sided fireplace suited to an open-plan room or two adjoining spaces.

The wider units are substantial appliances. Before finalising joinery or masonry, confirm the current appliance dimensions, weight, output, hearth construction, flue path, combustible clearances, fan requirements and service access. Heat demand should be assessed from the building rather than chosen only from fireplace width.
