The Weber Q range is built around progressively larger barbecue formats rather than one single model. That makes model number and generation particularly important: the right Q depends on how much food you normally cook, whether portability matters and whether the barbecue will sit on a cart, bench or permanent built-in installation.

Weber's current third-generation range starts with the Baby Q 1000N and Baby Q Premium 1200N. These are the compact end of the family and suit customers prioritising portability and a small footprint. The next step is Q 2000N and Q Premium 2200N, followed by Q+ 2600N+ and Q+ Premium 2800N+ for customers wanting additional cooking capability within the familiar Q format. Family Q+ 3100N+ and Family Q+ Premium 3200N+ provide the largest freestanding Q platform, while Built-in Q+ Premium 3600N+ is intended for integration into an outdoor-kitchen installation.

Alfresco's catalogue also includes selected classic second-generation Q1000, Q1200, Q2000, Q2200, Q3100, Q3200 and built-in Q3600 models. That matters because covers, carts, hotplates, roasting packs and other accessories are often generation- and model-specific.
