Collection: Swinging Chairs

Freestanding swinging chairs suspend a woven seat from their own support frame, creating a gentle rocking motion without fixing hooks into a ceiling. The intended Alfresco range includes Bondi single swinging chairs in white and gunmetal, Bondi Deluxe single models in white and charcoal, the Chelsea single chair, plus Chelsea and Dubai double swinging chairs.

Single models suit one-person relaxation and are easier to place on a balcony or smaller patio. Double chairs have a wider basket and frame for shared seating, so they require more floor area and a wider delivery path. The Chelsea and Dubai double formats should not be selected only by their two-person label: compare the published dimensions, load guidance and cushion arrangement on the individual product page.

Representative Alfresco pages describe freestanding powder-coated steel or iron frames, PE wicker or rattan-look baskets and fitted outdoor cushions. A freestanding design makes installation simpler than a ceiling-hung chair, but the unit still needs a stable, level surface. Leave open space around the basket so its normal movement cannot strike walls, glazing, railings or nearby furniture.

Outdoor cushions last longer when kept clean, fully dried and stored undercover during extended wet weather. Inspect suspension points and hardware periodically and follow the product instructions for safe loading and use. Choose white for a lighter coastal presentation or charcoal and gunmetal for a darker finish, then verify the frame can pass through the delivery route.
