Outdoor fire pits create a focal point for patios and alfresco areas, with a choice between controllable gas flame and traditional wood-burning designs. Alfresco’s range includes Bondi gas fire-pit tables, freestanding steel and stainless-steel bowls and compact garden fire pits in several diameters.

Bondi gas fire-pit coffee tables provide controllable LPG flame in a powder-coated aluminium table format. They suit lounge layouts where the fire feature also needs to act as the centre table, with white and gunmetal finishes available across selected furniture packages. Gas avoids wood smoke and ash, but the bottle, ventilation, burner clearances and approved setup still need to be managed exactly as instructed.

For wood-burning atmosphere, Titan and Boston fire pits are available in 70cm, 90cm and 110cm diameters. The Boston range includes both steel and stainless-steel versions with a pedestal-bowl design, while Titan provides a different bowl profile. Smaller Oxley, Barrington and Hawkesbury designs suit customers who need a more compact feature.

Choose fuel before styling. LPG offers fast ignition and easier flame control, while wood creates a traditional fire experience but requires dry fuel, smoke consideration and ash cleanup. Then select the diameter around the seating circle and available clearances. Fire pits are outdoor appliances and should be positioned on a suitable surface away from combustible materials, with local fire restrictions checked before lighting.
